This is the true story, of people playing games on Twitch, & sharing it all live.

When writing this article, I was reminded of the first time I heard the MTV Real World title sequence. That show ushered in the wave unscripted reality television that was recorded and edited for our viewing pleasure. But In Real Life (or IRL) takes this unscripted approach to the next level - with live streaming. These content creators are live streaming their daily lives and adventures for global audiences, any time, from anywhere. Many of these streamers were born out of Twitch, originally creating channels focused on video and tabletop gaming. But when Pokémon GO exploded in 2016 and players like aDrive, started to implement outdoor live streaming to engage with fans as they go on the hunt, the IRL streaming movement was born.

Streaming high-quality live video and audio in the great outdoors

One of the most stressful, complicated things when you think about it, is getting quality video and audio in an environment where it’s next to impossible. One of the things I’ve ventured out to do, is get high-quality video and audio in the world of the outdoors. This was an easy task with the help of the LiveU Solo. LiveU has hit a home run with this product because it’s so easy to use and set up! (Even the least tech savvy person can go live in under 5 minutes. I know, because I timed it!)

So you know you need to stream to Facebook Live and all you know is that if you use your phone to do it, it's going to look as bad as the last few streams you've tried. Bad because last time the sound was terrible. Bad because every time you moved, the lighting changed, and worse, your last stream completely failed because EVERYONE was using their cell phones too. Ugh.
